Twisted genre flick The Bunny Game gets snatched up by the UK’s Trinity X

You guys remember us telling you all about that twisted genre flick THE BUNNY GAME? I would understand if you didn’t considering our last update was way back in January. Then again THE BUNNY GAME isn’t exactly a project you forget about easily… One view of the trailer and this thing should be seared into your mind. Yeah, it looks that twisted.

Now today we’ve finally got ourselves an update on THE BUNNY GAME, albeit a UK update it’s still an update. You see according to a recent press relese it seems Trinity have gone and snatched up the UK rights to this little gem. They’ll be releasing it through their brand spanking new entertainment label Trinity X sometime in early 2012.

Everything in this flick was done on the real, from physical to sexual abuse. No special effects here folks. Trinity Films co-director Mark Sandell adds: “Although ‘The Bunny Game’ is acquired viewing and deals with disturbing issues, it fits the Trinity X brand perfectly in that it is distinctive and independent film-making at its best, with strong performances and a highly original filmic eye.”

Coming from director Adam Rehmeier and starring Rodleen Getsic (below), there’s no telling when THE BUNNY GAMES will be arriving here in the US but as soon as we find that out, as well as the official UK release date, we’ll be sure to pass the good word along to all of you!
