Two trailers & plot synopsis for Jason Daly’s slasher flick Beware!

So a new slasher joint just made our acquaintance, and it has unabashed parallels to the entire Jason Voorhees mythology (as you can see in the promo poster to the right). The film is called BEWARE, and comes from writer/director Jason Daly. Care to hear what this sucker’s all about? Let’s run it…

The town of Shady Grove, which holds many dark secrets. Amongst those secrets is the sadistic tale of “Shane”, a boy who was tortured and chained to a tree as a youngster. Legend has it that for years he survived in the woods all alone until one day he managed to escape. Now, damaged and broken, he wanders those woods in search of blood, with his trademark chain fused to his wrist. Despite years of tales and urban myths, no proof of his existence has ever been discovered, until five unsuspecting teens reveal the truth on an ill-fated trip.

Derivative, sure…but I can’t help fall for a teens-get-gorily-felled-on-a-trip yarn…so I’m sure I’d give this sucker a go. Who’s with me?

Lorena King, Victor Gonzales, Cecilia Huete and Adam Leadbeater all star in the film, which is currently in post-production. Until we rake a release, here’s a Official Site.
