Want to catch Michael Biehn and The Divide? Details inside!

We’ve been covering Xavier Gens’ THE DIVIDE for quite sometime now and the film is finally getting a limited release next Friday. Our main man Arrow dug the film and it even made his Top of 2011 (read his awesome review here). And a couple of days back we treated you to an awesome Exclusive Clip! I’d hope by now you are all pretty pumped for this one, I know I am!

Well coming up this Sunday is a Michael Biehn signing appearance on behalf of the film. If you are anywhere near Dark Delicacies (3512 W. Magnolia in Burbank) between 2-3pm I’d encourage you to go check that out and meet the man. Having met him a couple of years back, the dude is awesome and a great guy!

There is also an Opening Night Special Midnight Screening and Signing for the film! Michael will introduce the film and sign there as well. That will take place at the Landmark Nuart (11272 Santa Monica Blvd, LA). Sounds like that will be an awesome night, get in while you can!

In this graphic and violent, post-apocalyptic thriller, nine strangers-all tenants of a New York high-rise apartment-escape a nuclear attack by hiding out in the building's bunker-like basement. Trapped for days underground with no hope for rescue, and only unspeakable horrors awaiting them on the other side of the bunker door, the group begins to descend into madness, each turning on one another with physical and psycho-sexual torment. As supplies dwindle, and tensions flare, they grow increasingly unhinged by their close quarters and hopelessness. Each act against one another becomes more depraved than the next. While everyone in the bunker allows himself or herself to be overcome by desperation and lose their humanity, one survivor holds onto a thin chance for escape, even with no promise of salvation on the outside.

The Biehn stars along side Milo Ventimiglia, Lauren German (below), Rosanna Arquette, Michael Eklund, Courtney B. Vance, Ivan Gonzalez, Ashton Holmes, Jennifer Blanc and Abbey Thicks.

Extra Tidbit: Xavier Gens previously directed FRONTIER(s) and HITMAN.
