Web series Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462 has begun

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Yesterday was a busy day for the Walking Dead franchise. Not only did the season 1 finale of Fear the Walking Dead air on AMC last night, the first episode of its companion web series Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462 also hit AMC.com.

Fear the Walking Dead: Flight 462

tells the story of a group of passengers aboard a commercial airplane during the earliest moments of the outbreak. Over the course of the series, the plane and the lives of its passengers are put in jeopardy once they discover an infected traveler. The series is written by L. Signorino and Mike Zunic and directed by “Fear” director of photography Michael McDonough.

Flight 462 will consist of sixteen episodes, and if you don't want to watch them online, each episode will also be paired with an episode of The Walking Dead, airing during commercial breaks as The Walking Dead makes it way through its sixteen episode sixth season.

A surviving Flight 462 character will then be added to the cast of Fear the Walking Dead season 2.

The first episode of Flight 462 will air during the season 6 premiere of The Walking Dead on AMC next Sunday. Most episodes of Flight 462 will be less than 60 seconds long, but this first one is an expanded one, running just over 80 seconds. Within those 80 seconds, the story already started to unnerve me.
