We got a heads up this morning about a little flick that’s in production, and truth be told, it has ‘good times’ written all over it! It’s called TORTURE, and it’s being described as a cross between HOSTEL and TCM. Since I like both those flick, this badboy seems like it’s right up my alley!
Not only that, but the synopsis actually sounds pretty cool… check it out: TORTURE ROOM stars Brooke Bailey and Nicki Streisel as two young women who enjoy treating men as toys, manipulating them for fun. But, when their car gets a flat tire on the way home from a big night out on the town the girls find themselves on the other end of the game as they run into a twisted maniac who has a very bloody manipulation hobby of his own.
Can’t beat that! Judging from the first photo here, and the poster below, there’s a little bit of S & M going on (just check out that masK), but whatever floats your boat, that’s what I always say. Produced by Michael Turner and his new company Nytemare Productions, and written/directed by Jim O’Rear (DORM OF THE DEAD), there’s nothing but praise coming out of production right now. Just listen to the set report from Turner himself:
“We shot a scene a couple of days ago that almost made some of the cast and crew vomit. You know that if you can get a reaction like that on the live set, then the images are going to be twice as disturbing to the film viewer.”
Hot chicks. Disgusting gore. What more could you want? Oh yeah… story, and characters we actually give a flying f*ck about. Hopefully this flick has it all… if not, at least it’ll be entertaining in that trashy kind of way!
