The prospect of Anna Faris starring as a Playboy bunny in a comedy initially had me intrigued. I still think Faris is one of the untapped comedy resources in Hollywood and having her star as a Playboy centerfold is sort of tapping directly into my brain. Sadly the buzz I’m hearing back on HOUSE BUNNY isn’t the stuff of dreams but rather nightmares. I’ll admit this trailer made me smile a few times but that girls-locking-elbows strut down the street also made me roll my eyes. The film comes out in August amidst some pretty stiff comedy competition in PINEAPPLE EXPRESS and TROPIC THUNDER so it’ll be interesting to see if it finds an audience. Check out the new international trailer for the film to almost see some Anna Faris full frontal!
