Taking that method acting thing a little too far, ay Brad?

According to the US Weekly, a Hungarian SWAT team raided the production of Marc Forster’s WORLD WAR Z (starring Brad Pitt), as they were tipped off a number of illegal weapons had been transported over country lines.

In specific, a total of 85 fully functional assault rifles were taken from production warehouses.

“Guns like these are highly illegal to transport even if they were to used as stage guns, which hopefully they weren’t,” said Hajdu Janos and Zsolt Bodnar, the director and deputy director of Hungary’s anti-terrorist force.

Apparently this was all a mix-up, as paperwork for the rifles claimed they were nonfunctional. Perhaps some crazy person was trying to pull a Brandon Lee (or Chucky in CHILD’S PLAY 3). That’d be pretty heinous.

Due around Christmastime 2012 – The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.
