His sci-fi feature debut THE MUTANT CHRONICLES still hasn’t been unleashed in the US (it arrives on your local On-Demand cable box this month), but director Simon Hunter is eyeballing another project.
Hunter is going from the burned-out future to the backwoods for an indie horror-thriller called CURVE. The movie involves a woman who takes a detour outside New York and finds herself trying to survive against a tenacious killer with a taste for some hottie.
Hunter is reworking the script and hopes to begin production later this year.
So why the Eva Mendes pic? The grade-A Latina was previously attached to the project, but is no longer (a new lead will be sought closer to production). Still, it was a perfect excuse to post those irresistible cheeks.
