Live-Metal.net has two cool interview with a couple of cool gals: Scout Taylor-Compton (Laurie Strode) and the ever-adorable Danielle Harris.

It’s not dated. We were like, “What year is it?” And he’s like, “Uh, ’70-’80-something, I don’t know.” He didn’t want it to be specific, so our clothes are kind of contemporary. The cars are a little bit older, but some of the cars are newer. So you don’t really have a grasp on what time it is, which is really cool. He knows his shit, you know?

On taking her shirt off: I do, yeah. Which is something that I wanted to do because everyone’s like, “Oh, she’s little Jamie. She’s 14.” And it’s like, no, actually, I’m 30.[Eric’s note: 30?!?!?!] It’s something that I’ve never done before. It’s a different kind of role, so I think it’ll do something. I don’t know. It’s a studio film and it’s Labor Day weekend. Hopefully, we’ll win the weekend. If we can get the No. 1 spot, I think it will do good for all of us.

On the possibility of Scout doing a sequel: You know, I know Malcolm signed on to a lot, and I know Tyler signed on to two. Rob told me that he wasn’t going to direct it, so I didn’t sign on for any. I’ve been approached about doing another one, but they’re waiting to see how well this does.

The most revealing bit? Taylor Compton on Malcolm McDowell: The first time Malcolm kissed me on the lips, I kind of was like, “Whoa, whoa!” But he did that every day. Kind of got used to it. Malcolm’s a little—He’s a flirty little man. He’s a cutie.

Calling Dr. Loomis! Click it for Danielle, and for Scout. Oh, comes out August 31.
