It's been a while since we've seen John Travolta kick some ass – and look like he means it – so the trailer for I AM WRATH is a bit of a treat, as it sees the actor going hogwild on the cheap scum who murdered his wife. He's joined by the always-cool Christopher Meloni in the flick, which might contain echoes of ROLLING THUNDER for those of you who are familiar with that cult classic. We're always game for bloody revenge, so let's consider this a must-see!

Interesting notes: I AM WRATH was directed by Chuck Russell, director of such fine features as A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 3 and THE BLOB, and written by longtime friend of the site Paul Sloan, who also co-stars.

John Travolta plays an engineer who witnesses thugs murdering his wife (played by Rebecca De Mornay) and is haunted by the image of her dying in his arms. When law enforcement fails to bring the killers to justice, he takes matters into his own hands.

The trailer gives away a lot, but it doesn't diminish the fact that the movie looks like a gnarly good time.
