Here’s the first full-length trailer for Lionsgate’s I, FRANKENSTEIN, starring Aaron Eckhart as a modern day Frankenstein’s monster who finds himself caught up in a war between demons and gargoyles. Ugh, yeah, I know… The footage didn’t look impressive at Comic Con, and it sure doesn’t look impressive now; basically this looks so much like an UNDERWORLD movie that it’s quite redundant when a title card announcing “From the producers of Underworld” shows up.

Even Bill Nighy is in it for crying out loud.

200 years after his shocking creation, Dr. Frankenstein’s creature, Adam, still walks the earth. But when he finds himself in the middle of a war over the fate of humanity, Adam discovers he holds the key that could destroy humankind.

Directed by Stuart Beattie, I, FRANKENSTEIN co-stars Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, Jai Courtney, and Aden Young. It opens on January 24, 2014.
