I Want That: HBO and McFarlane Toys team up to create Game of Thrones sets

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

If you’re done reeling over the events of season 5 finale of Game of Thrones (relax, I wont spoil it here), you can now set your sights on crafting your own mini-Westeros. HBO has partnered up with McFarlane Toys to bring construction sets and characters with all the detail you would come to expect. On the docket for release is the Iron Throme Room, a Mother of Dragons set and an Attack the Wall set. Each set will range in price from $14.99 to $49.99. As far as characters go, you can expect to see Tyrion, Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Grey Worm, Ghost, Rhaegal, an Unsullied, a Crow, a Wildling, a Wight and more, all coming in at $3.99 each.

McFarlane on their collaboration with HBO:

“[HBO is] a world-class network and Game of Thrones is one of the most visually compelling shows that I’ve ever seen. We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to create high-quality collectible construction sets based on this fan-favorite property. Both collectors and fans of this epic series can build their favorite scenes with this new product line.

Below you’ll see the Iron Throne Room starter kit, complete with King Joffrey, Tyrion Lannister, members of the Kingsguard and some Lannister guards.

The rest of the toys will be revealed at SDCC next week and you can expect to see them in stores this fall.
