When you can’t find what your looking for in horror on the silver screen, sometimes it’s enough to find some horror on the page in graphic form… at least enough to hold ya over until something comes up that fits your liking. And that may be what I, ZOMBIE will be for you!
Straight from Vertigo Comic’s OFFICIAL BLOG, I, ZOMBIE is from writer Chris Roberson and artist Mike Allred and is the story of Gwendolyn “Gwen” Dylan, zombie girl detective. Think graveyards, ghosts, vampires and werewolves with a twist.
Ah yes, the inevitable twist. What could this twist be? That it’s a female zombie dectetive? But is that really the twist they’re talking about? Something really irks the crap outta me when I see “with a twist” in describing something new, mostly because it doesn’t ever end up that way at all.
But enough with that. Twists aside, I, ZOMBIE sounds like it could be pretty fun, and the perfect fodder to kill some time. No doubt more on I, ZOMBIE will be pimped out at next week’s Comic Con International in San Diego, so keep it here for more info. on I, ZOMBIE as we hear it!
