RIDE ALONG followed security guard Ben (Kevin Hart) who, in an effort to prove himself to his girlfriend's brother James (Ice Cube), went on a 24-hour ride-along in Atlanta. These buddy cop movies really come down to personal preference for the actors a lot of the time, and I've yet to be sold on any flick Kevin Hart has taken part in. Fans of the first film at least have returning director Tim Story to look forward to, who lest you forget, is responsible for the best FANTASTIC FOUR film. Not sure why they wouldn't put that on the poster…
RIDE ALONG 2 will hit theaters on January 15, 2015.
