RIDE ALONG followed security guard Ben (Kevin Hart) who, in an effort to prove himself to his girlfriend's brother James (Ice Cube), went on a 24-hour ride-along in Atlanta. The next chapter in their story is almost upon us, as the two are back to go undercover with Miami officer, Maya Cruz (Olivia Munn), in order to stop some nefarious people from…nefariating.. Will Ice Cube display some alpha-male proficiency? Will Kevin Hart make a fool of himself? Will Olivia Munn play a believable tough  cop? Check out the first trailer for yourself!

These buddy cop movies really come down to personal preference for the actors a lot of the time, and I've yet to be sold on any flick Kevin Hart has taken part in. Fans of the first film at least have returning director Tim Story to look forward to, who lest you forget, is responsible for the best FANTASTIC FOUR film. Not sure why they wouldn't put that on the poster…

RIDE ALONG 2 will hit theaters on January 15, 2015.
