Ice Cube. To a whole new generation, he’s an actor who plays in silly kid movies and so-so comedies. Just wait till this generation grows up and discovers the Cube during his N.W.A. days…

At least now the guy’s set his sights a bit higher, looking to star in the upcoming thriller 10 with Dimension films, based on the graphic novel series by Shannon Eric Denton and Keith Giffen. So are we gonna expect the Cube running down a beach in slow motion here? Um… not exactly. Check it:

The story revolves around a guy who gets what appears to be junk mail informing him he’s in a competition with nine others and that whoever gets out alive wins. He throws away the letter, but then a man toting an ax shows up at the door.
