In the Earth: new poster revealed for Ben Wheatley’s sci-fi horror film

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

NEON Pictures has just released a new poster for director Ben Wheatley's (Free Fire) upcoming micro-budget sci-fi thriller he shot during quarantine, called In the Earth. You can check out the poster at the bottom of the article, and here's the official synopsis:

As the world searches for a cure to a disastrous virus, a scientist and park scout venture deep into the forest for a routine equipment run. Through the night, their journey becomes a terrifying voyage through the heart of darkness, the forest coming to life around them.

Meanwhile, In the Earth – directed by Ben Wheatley and starring Joel Fry (Yesterday), Ellora Torchia (Midsommar), Hayley Squires (I, Daniel Blake), and Reece Shearsmith – will be coming to select theaters (check you local listings) April 30th!

Now I'm usually a fan of Wheatley's work and how he manages to play with tone and expectations, so I'm definitely curious about this one, and will check it out once I get a chance!

But what do you guys think? Also fans of Wheatley's work? If so, gonna check this one out? Either way, sound off below!
