Roland Emmerich’s INDEPENDENCE DAY 2 has brought on some familiar faces. The director announced via Twitter his new sequel has added Bill Pullman and Judd Hirsch to the cast!

Pullman and Hirsch will of course be reprising their roles as the President (well, ex-Prez by now) and the father of Jeff Goldblum’s character David, respectively. How large their roles are this time around is anyone’s guess. (Hopefully Pullman will get to make another rousing speech in the third act!)

Other past ID4 castmembers include Goldblum, Brent Spiner, Vivica A. Fox, while the newcomers thus far include Liam Hemsworth, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Joey King, Travis Tope and Jessie Usher.

Check out embed’s of Emmerich’s tweets below. INDEPENDENCE DAY 2 opens June 24, 2016.
