I am currently in HALLOWEEN heaven! With so many killer articles and images popping up, like, every single day, I’m O.D.-ing on all things Myers… and I love it! From the very first image to an onslaught of sweet set pics, I’m already hooked! August 28th couldn’t get here faster!
And since I still can’t get enough, let’s add another piece to the H2 news juggernaut! And this info, for once, hasn’t stemmed from Rob Zombie’s MySpace page. The fine fiends at Bloody-D uncovered a very interesting (and important) casting call for H2 (yes, even though filming has begun, they are still casting). Take a peak at the “call” and see if you can guess who they’re looking for:
[BOY] 8 to 11 years old, Caucasian, blond hair, blue eyes (long hair a plus), no taller than 4-foot-10. There’s a veneer of innocence about him, but he’s ultimately revealed to be very dangerous. We need a very capable young actor who is able to be both threatening and vulnerable…STRONG SUPPORTING ROLE.
What do you think? The answer shouldn’t be too tough. With the announcement of Daeg Faerch being in the cast, you know that there will be more flashbacks. Since Mr. Faerch is now looking much older than he did in the first one, I’m betting we’re going to go even farther back in time to Michael’s younger years. Hence, in case you couldn’t already tell, I believe that this casting call is for another, younger version of Mr. Myers! That all spells cool beans in my book! I was a big fan of the “early years” motif in Zombie’s first outing. What do you guys think?
