Last week brought us the trailer for the upcoming found footage horror PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: THE MARKED ONES, the Latino-themed spinoff of the very profitable PARANORMAL ACTIVITY franchise that is set to haunt theaters on January 3, 2014. Today we have a new international trailer for the Christopher Landon-helmed flick that is a bit shorter than the previous trailer but delivers the goods nonetheless.
I don't feel the need to hide the fact that I dig the PARANORMAL ACTIVITY films, even though I'm as tired of the found footage format as the next guy. I think the PA films do a lot with the format, delivering exactly what a good horror film should be able to do: entertain me throughout its running time. I've never found myself bored with this franchise, even though I can understand why some folks haven't been fully onboard with these films. To each his own, I suppose. I, for one, can't wait to check out PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: THE MARKED ONES when it hits cinemas early next year.
