INT: Andre Benjamin

I knew Andre from his band Outkast. That is it. I hadn’t seen IDLEWILD or FOUR BROTHERS. But I did see him in SEMI-PRO, and I liked his performance a whole lot. He is a natural whether he is battling the opposing basketball team or his very large afro. The guy is very funny and looked pretty great alongside some really talented and hilarious peeps.

When I sat down with him at The W in Westwood, I really dug the guy. He is exactly what I would have expected from the other half of Outkast. It seems like this man has a whole lot of talent brewing and I can’t wait to see what comes next, either from his music or his work as an actor.
