Interview: Green Zone director Paul Greengrass

JoBloJoBlo

Director Paul Greengrass is not cut out for 4-minute TV interviews. I mean this entirely as a compliment and I realize it about three-quarters through our interview when he’s still answering my first question. The man doesn’t talk in soundbytes – he gives you well thought out and intelligent answers to the questions you’re asking. He also just happens to be one of the nicest guys working in Hollywood.

While I could’ve easily talked to Greengrass for about forty minutes without a single break in the conversation, I was thrilled to have a few minutes with the man to talk about GREEN ZONE, how the book was key to cracking the script and why Matt Damon’s involvement was so important. Check it out below!

GREEN ZONE hits theaters this Friday.
