Woody Harrelson commanded the screen in such films as NATURAL BORN KILLERS, NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, THE PEOPLE VS. LARRY FLYNT, ZOMBIELAND, DEFENDOR and so much more. In RAMPART, his latest feature directed by Oren Moverman, he gives one of his most impressive performances to date. This is the second film that Harrelson, Moverman and Ben Foster have worked on together, the first being the Academy Award nominated THE MESSENGER. There is no surprise at the level of talent behind this real life based drama.

When I sat down with Mr. Harrelson, we talked about the character and about meeting real life police officers – even a few folks on the other side of the law. He talked about working with Moverman, a writer/director he clearly respects, even if he is not big on rehearsal time. It was terrific sitting across from this talented actor, one who continues to choose unique and challenging roles. RAMPART opens in limited release this coming Friday.

“And I met a lot of cool gangbangers…”
