As I sat down to interview Edgar Wright for the first time, I was told by the video crew that they were having some technical problems. Sit tight, they said, it’ll be fixed in a few minutes. So Edgar and I sat and talked about the opening credits, advice Tarantino gave him after screening the film and little easter eggs to keep an eye and ear out for. Of course, none of that made it on camera.
Luckily Edgar is always a good interview and that off-the-record stuff will just have to stay off the record.
