Note: This was the first movie junket for which we decided to
interview the cast/filmmaker on video, as opposed to our
standard roundtables with other journalists. Let’s see how it goes.

In
the upcoming enthralling film HAVEN,
Zoe Saldana is cast as teenager Andrea who is an unfortunate victim
of her actions and circumstances. Having starred opposite hottie
Orlando Bloom previously in the original PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN
, this time around, Saldana plays Bloom’s love interest (lucky
girl!).
However, torn between a forbidden love and her controlling
family, she is pushed down the wrong path and as a result her life
takes a turn for the worse.

I
recently had the opportunity to sit down one on one with Saldana to
chit-chat about what attracted her to the role of Andrea, her
depiction of a good girl gone bad, what it was like to play opposite
Bloom and the film’s portrayal of corruption and crime on the
Cayman Islands

. Check out what she had
to say.
