Iron Man’s dad Howard Stark will be in Captain America

JoBloJoBlo

In IRON MAN 2, Tony Stark’s father Howard makes a brief but pivotal appearance that helps the hero take his tech to the next level. And that won’t be the only time the elder Stark shows up in the Marvel movie universe.

We will apparently see the character in next year’s CAPTAIN AMERICA, and it seems that dreamy Brit actor Dominic Cooper will play the WWII version of the man who will become Roger Sterling Howard Stark. Cooper recently appeared in MAMMA MIA! and THE DUCHESS.

It’s unknown how big the Stark role will be in the movie, but we can probably assume he will be involved with the “advanced” war tech of the time, as well as a model of Cap’s famous bulletproof shield. And we learned in IRON MAN 2 that Stark was also a founder of the clandestine protectors known as S.H.I.E.L.D.

CAPTAIN AMERICA already has Chris Evans in the red, white and blue, plus Sam Jackson as Nick Fury, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Toby Jones as Arnim Zola and Hugo Weaving as Red Skull.
