Is Jamie Foxx in early talks to play the villain in the sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man?

I like how you cast, boy.

I’m not sure how this will or will not effect the rumors of Spider-Man having to go up against Electro in the sequel to the rather spectacularly succesful first film ($750 million worldwide), but current Tarantino hero Jamie Foxx is reportedly in very early talks to play the villain (whomever they may be) in THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2. Which is in turn rumored/hoped to be called THE SPECTACTULAR SPIDER-MAN, but that’s neither here nor there.
