Anyone seen the 2008 Belgian thriller LOFT?
Neither have I. I suppose that’s one of the reasons why the director of the film, Erik Van Looy, has decided to remake LOFT in the English language, with international actors. Last we heard, star of the original, Matthias Schoenaerts, had signed up to reprise his role in the American remake…joining the likes of Patrick Wilson, James Marsden, Eric Stonestreet and Wentworth Miller. Well folks, enter a much need hottie to the production…
Variety reports that Aussie stunner Isabel Lucas (pictured) has signed a deal to climb the LOFT. Word is she’ll play “Sarah,” a naive young beauty who unexpectedly comes into the lives of the five friends.
Adapted by A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET scribe Wesley Strick, LOFT follows five married friends who decide to rent a loft together where they can bring their mistresses. When the body of an unknown woman is found in the loft, they realize that they don’t know each other as well as they thought and begin to suspect one another of murder.
LOFT goes under the lens June 6th in Louisiana.
