Just a couple weeks ago, we shared the news that Gary Oldman would be starring in the supernatural thriller MARY for American Horror Story director Michael Goi, and now Oldman's first co-star has been announced.

Several cast members from the horror hit IT seem to be sticking close to the genre – you've got Bill Skarsgard joining the Stephen King series Castle Rock, Jackson Robert Scott and Megan Charpentier following Andy Muschietti to the Locke & Key pilot, and of course Finn Wolfhard on Stranger Things. You can add to that list IT's Owen Teague, who played the bully Patrick Hockstetter in the King/Muschietti film and has now signed on to join Oldman in MARY.

Scripted by Anthony Jaswinski (a genre regular himself, with his credits including KRISTY, THE SHALLOWS, and SATANIC), MARY will follow

a struggling family that buys an old ship at auction with the high hopes of starting a charter business, only to discover its horrifying secrets on the isolated open waters.

Oldman will be playing the father / boat captain, with Teague as his second-in-command, "a Florida surf punk that the father has taken under his wing."

MARY is being produced and financed by Tucker Tooley Entertainment and eOne. Tucker Tooley, Scott Lambert, Alexandra Milchan, and Scott Lumpkin are producing the film, with Greg Renker and Jason Barhydt serving as executive producers.

Filming is set to begin in Alabama later this month.
