This is the first I’m hearing about BATTLEGROUND, but it’s a better late than never scenario as far as I’m concerned, because this one looks damn cool. It’s Rambo vs. bank robbers, essentially.

Neil Mackay’s action-thriller goes like this: A bank heist goes wrong and six ruthless men escape into the forests of North Michigan with three million dollars, only to encounter a deranged Vietnam veteran who still lives for the kill.

The film is getting a DVD/Blu-ray release on AUGUST 28th courtesy of Well Go USA. We’re not sure yet of the specs, but we’ll keep you posted.

Hugh Lambe, Bryan Larkin, Bob Cymbalski, Mark Munro, Damon White and Robert Nolan star in BATTLEGROUND. Give the trailer a peek below, and pre-order the DVD HERE or the Blu-ray HERE.
