Peter Jackson has been promising to go back to his horror roots for some time now but all these other non-horror projects have kept him from doing so. There’s hope, though, as the folks over at Slashfilm recently heard Stephen Fry, who wrote the screenplay for one of Jackson’s pending projects DAMBUSTERS, drop the following little nugget:
Fran [Walsh], who is PJ’s wife and writes with him, they’ve come up with this idea called The Christ Must Die in which Nazi zombies go back in time to stop Jesus from being born.
Holy fucking shit, time traveling Nazi zombies looking to off Jesus?! If this isn’t some silly joke, Jackson needs to start working on this now.
