James Franco is between a rock and hard place in new 127 Hours poster

JoBloJoBlo

I’ve heard nothing but high praise for James Franco’s performance in Danny Boyle’s 127 HOURS, and I’ll be curious to see the man carry almost an entire film on his back. Granted I’ve loved him since FREAKS AND GEEKS, but did I imagine him someday getting Oscar buzz? Didn’t quite cross my mind.

Yesterday, we saw a rather good new trailer for the film, and today we have a new poster, which is visually striking and gets a symbolic “time is of the essence” message across. It’s not a scene actually in the movie, but puts the “man vs. boulder” theme pretty well out in the open.
