Just a few moments ago, it got very hot inside my office. So much so that I had to run downstairs and check my thermostat to make sure that no one mucked with it. As it happens, the additional heat that's been added to my workspace is coming from a spicy new set of pics posted not long ago by Jason Momoa. In the series of photos, Momoa appears shirtless, muddy and then soaking wet while going full-Flashdance amid a sun-drenched dustbowl.

To be clear, these photos don't appear to have anything to do with Denis Villeneuve's DUNE, but I kind of wish they did. Momoa plays Duncan Idaho for the upcoming film, which also stars a smoking hot cast that includes Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Oscar Isaac, Stellan Skarsgard, Charlotte Rampling, David Dastmalchian, and Javier Bardem.

Although the post is not an official plug for DUNE, the actor made sure to plug the film in his post nonetheless by saying, "like a pig in shit. hard to explain this one. but i had an amazing day," Momoa wrote. "now i need a dune buggy. dune coming soon aloha j. @schaeffersgarmenthotel dirty pink."

If the good word is to be believed, we'll be seeing a trailer for DUNE sometime in August. For the moment, DUNE is set to arrive in theaters this December, though I do have my concerns that the film will be delayed on account of COVID-19 closures and other scheduling conflicts. Here's hoping for miracles, folks, as I am just as excited as anyone else to check this movie out when it finally lands in theaters.
