While this isn’t major news, it’s… well, it’s not major news. But it does relate to JEEPERS CREEPERS, which is a polarizing subject around here, so I’ll toss it your way.
In an interview with Fangoria, actor Ray Wise (JEEPERS CREEPERS 2) mentioned that some work has begun on JEEPERS CREEPERS: THE CREEPER WALKS AMONG US: We had a table reading last week… The script of JEEPERS CREEPERS III takes the better aspects of the first two and puts them together. It’s gonna be incredible.”
I’m hoping “better aspects” don’t include shirtless dudes catching rays and urinating all over each other’s shoes (shiver).I’m not a big fan of the series so far, so I’m struggling to figure out what the better aspects are… Decapitations, I guess.
Not much is known about the plot for the third entry in Victor Salva’s creation, aside from the knowledge that Wise is in it, it’s supposedly being followed up by yet-another sequel, and Gina Phillips (from Part One; below) might make an appearance as well.
