Rian Johnson’s sci-fi thriller is assembling itself a hell of a team. In addition to a cast that includes Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordan-Levitt, Paul Dano and Emily Blunt, LOOPER recently nabbed Shane Carruth, the director of the time-travel drama PRIMER, to help with the visual effects. Now, according to Variety, its cast has expanded, bringing in some welcome and recognizable faces.
Jeff Daniels, Piper Perabo (pictured below) and Noah Segan have all come aboard the film in undisclosed roles. Daniels you should well know by now; Perabo is currently on the hit USA Network show “Covert Ops” and Segan you might remember from such horror efforts as DEAD GIRL, CABIN FEVER 2 and ALL ABOUT EVIL (pictured above).
LOOPER follows a killer who works for the mob of the future. He, along with other so-called Loopers, dispose of people sent from the future. When he recognizes one victim as his future self, he hesitates, letting the man escape.
