I just realised I’m a fan of Jeffrey Dean Morgan a couple days ago. As I was starting my journey into the series that is WEEDS I saw Mr. Morgan a couple episodes in and I was just reminded of his … presence? … Alright let’s be serious here. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a badass dude and whenever his name gets attached to something genre worthy we’ve just got to pass along the news to all of you! Right? Right.

That’s exactly what I’m here for! Bet you didn’t see that one coming. According to The Hollywood Reporter Jeffrey Dean Morgan has just signed on to Michael Bassett’s THE UNBLINKING EYE. Morgan (above) will star as homicide detective John Callisto, now a retired recluse after being nearly murdered by a serial killer, is tracked down by a relentless journalist. As the two confront each other, dark secrets from both their pasts come to light.

Intriguing, no? So he gets scared off by the big bad serial killer? I have a feeling there’s going to be some twisted shite in this one. Bassett also penned the script with Wind Fish Motion Pictures’ Juliusz Kossakowski and Kevan Van Thompson producing. THE UNBLINKING EYE is set to start filming in May with a budget of around $10 million. Groovy. Hopefully this thing stays right down our alley!
