Despite the news that we have to wait until 2016 to see BATMAN VS SUPERMAN, that doesn’t mean the film will not continue to prepare the massive production. Filming is still slated for this year which means Warner Bros is planning to film JUSTICE LEAGUE in conjunction with the MAN OF STEEL sequel or something bigger is in the works. Whether Ben Affleck‘s rumored leg injury has something to do with it, the continued tidbits about the batsuit continue to make their way to the surface.

This time, the information about the redesigned batsuit comes courtesy of Affleck’s wife, Jennifer Garner. Garner was interviewed on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and asked about seeing Affleck in the suit. Check out her response below.

Garner is no stranger to the world of superheroes having played Elektra both in her own film and opposite Affleck in DAREDEVIL, so I wouldn’t say she is talking out of her ass. I also think that her comments are in line with those from Kevin Smith who had equally positive things to say. I like hearing it is a “total reinvention” as the big screen batsuits so fat have all looked somewhat similar. While the molded body armor look does seem more realistic, it has never quite felt like Batman on the big screen. Here’s hoping that we get to see something that lives up to the hype.

BATMAN VS SUPERMAN will now hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
