Although it hasn't been confirmed yet, I think it's safe to say that Jeremy Irons will more than likely be back as Alfred Pennyworth in the next solo Batman movie. I mean, is it really a Bat flick if it doesn't have Alfred in it?

But Irons recently told Showbiz 411 that Alfred will also appear in THE JUSTICE LEAGUE PART ONE, which is currently filming in the U.K. Of course the actor didn't reveal what the bat-butler will be up to in the film or how big of a role he will have, however one would assume that he'll be helping Bats assemble the Justice League.

I know many were disappointed with BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, but Irons was fantastic as Alfred, and I'm glad he'll be coming back for the first JUSTICE LEAGUE movie.

THE JUSTICE LEAGUE PART ONE will hit theaters on November 11, 2017, while PART TWO is scheduled to open June 14, 2019.
