Neill Blomkamp’s ELYSIUM hasn’t even been shopped around to studios yet and already has a great cast so far.
According to Deadline, Jodie Foster is joining Matt Damon and Sharlto Copley in Blomkamp’s new sci-fi project. But what the hell is it about? No clue. The script which was also written by Blomkamp has been kept under very tight wraps. Last month Damon threw some peanuts at us in regards to the plot, “It’s a great idea. It’s 100 percent Neill, I’ll put it that way. And that’s about the highest kind of praise I can give it.” Okay, so he merely threw the shells at us, but we licked the salt off them and they were tasty.
There’s no more details given on the project, just the fact that Foster has signed on. Are we excited? Yes. Foster, Damon and Copley together for for Blomkamp. I’ll take one ticket now, thank you.
