Shudder confirms 4 new Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs specials, including Walking Dead and Halloween shows

The Shudder streaming service has a special treat for fans of legendary drive-in critic / movie host Joe Bob Briggs and his show The Last Drive-In this Halloween season, as they have announced that they will be airing four Last Drive-In specials over the course of September and October!

First up is a special that many Drive-In Mutants have been waiting for since 2021, a recording of the Joe Bob’s Jamboree event that was held at the Mahoning Drive-In Theater in Lehighton, Pennsylvania back in July of ’21. Here’s the information that was provided by Shudder:

Earlier this year, there was a special episode of The Last Drive-In that was dedicated to the premiere episode of AMC’s Walking Dead spin-off The Walking Dead: Dead City (since Shudder is owned by AMC). Now it has been confirmed that the premiere episode of the new spin-off The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will also be getting the Last Drive-In treatment:

Then Shudder and AMC have enlisted Joe Bob to help them celebrate the 45th anniversary of John Carpenter’s classic Halloween!
