SINISTER director Scott Derrickson is currently nailing together a solid line-up for his next feature film BEWARE THE NIGHT which is a very unique premise that looks to blend supernatural elements with a gritty police story. THR got the word that Community star Joel McHale (above) along with PROMETHEUS' Sean Harris will be joining the cast with Eric Bana, Edgar Ramirez, and Olivia Munn (below).

The story is set in a paranormal world and follows a New York police officer investigating real life demon possessions, exorcisms and werewolves after dark. Bana plays an Irish Catholic cop working a case when he meets a renegade priest. Despite the cop’s beliefs, he’s convinced by the priest that there is a demonic element and together they work to solve the case and combat the paranormal forces working against them. Ramirez plays the priest. Munn plays the cop’s wife, who also has a tie to the case.

While this one seems to be shaping up quite nicely, we all must be patient as BEWARE THE NIGHT is currently eyeing a January 16, 2015 release.
