John Carney absolutely loves telling stories about finding love and passion and friendship in music. Be it his ONCE or BEGIN AGAIN, those very principles were at the heart of his stories, and he’s doing it again for SING STREET. This time, he has a young man trying to find his own path in a changing life, and the kinship and shots at the ladies that come from forming a band may be his ticket through.
A new trailer has come our way today for the film, and it certainly does look like a fun time. If you’re at Sundance this year, you’ll be able to catch it early. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until later in 2016 when The Weinstein Company decides to let the rest of us have at it.
