Cancel those tickets to Iceland! Following the debut of his second album, Lost Themes II, renowned filmmaker and composer John Carpenter will be performing live in concert in the United States for the first time ever, playing classic themes as well as compositions from his TWO albums. Who would have thought we'd live long enough to see this day?

The concert takes place in New York's PlayStation theater on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 8:00PM. You can follow the link on his official Twitter announcement to order your tickets, which go on sale this Friday, February 5th.

Yes, this is only one U.S. date, but after this array of insane announcements, would it be too much to assume that he might be hitting other cities in due time?

You can pre-order Lost Themes II, due April 15th, right here.
