I know some of you might have missed John Cusack in HOT TUB TIME MACHINE 2, but no worries as he'll be on theater screens before you know it! His latest character is that of Beach Boys enigma Brian Wilson. LOVE & MERCY will follow the life of reclusive Beach Boys songwriter and musician, from his successes with highly-influential orchestral pop albums to his nervous breakdown and subsequent encounter with controversial therapist Dr. Eugene Landy. Paul Dano has been playing brilliant bit parts in films like PRISONERS and LOOPER, so it'll be great to see him tackle something as meaty as a biopic. I am curious to see how much screen time is divvied up between him and Cusack, but either way, you can't lose.
