Joker’s New Look

The first ‘official’ photo of Heath Ledger as The Joker in next summer’s THE DARK KNIGHT was revealed over the weekend, and all I can saw is wow. Creepy. Very cool, but very… creepy. Looks like the kind of guy you wouldn’t want to run into in a dark alley in the middle of the night, and more importantly… not as jokey as we’ve seen The Joker done in the past. Nice!

If this doesn’t make you believe that THE DARK KNIGHT is gonna kick all kinds of ass, then I don’t know what will. Yes, it’s a tad early to begin all this hype for a flick with more than a year to go before it hits theaters… but then again, not enough hype just wouldn’t seem right.
