Jon Knautz is turning his short The Cleaning Lady into Something Fierce

Last year, JACK BROOKS: MONSTER SLAYER director Jon Knautz released a 10 minute short called THE CLEANING LADY, which he co-wrote with his GODDESS OF LOVE co-writer and star Alexis Kendra. Kendra also starred in THE CLEANING LADY, but while GODDESS OF LOVE was an erotic thriller in which she spent a large portion of her screen time nude or nearly nude, the CLEANING short covered her up with layers of clothing and burn makeup.

The short film centered on an interaction between two women that eventually descends into pure creepiness, and the story it told definitely could have sustained a longer running time – in fact, it might have even benefited from being expanded. So it's good news that an expansion is exactly what's going to happen.

Knautz, Kendra, and Kendra's THE CLEANING LADY (and GODDESS OF LOVE) co-star Elizabeth Sandy are re-teaming for a feature version of the short that will be called SOMETHING FIERCE.

SOMETHING FIERCE has a synopsis that would also describe THE CLEANING LADY:

As a means to distract herself from an affair, a love-addicted woman befriends a cleaning lady who is badly scarred by burns. She soon learns these scars run much deeper than the surface.

Kendra and Sandy are being joined in the cast by Stelio Savante and Rachel Alig.

SOMETHING FIERCE was scheduled to enter production in late July, so if it's not filming right now it will be soon.

The original short can be seen right here:
