Jonah Hill and Miles Teller sell more than pillows in new War Dogs trailer

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

After securing a $300 million government contract to supply weapons to U.S. allies in Afghanistan, David Packouz (Miles Teller) and Efraim Diveroli (Jonah Hill) wind up over their heads and involved with some very shady people, including the U.S. Government itself. Todd Phillips' THE HANGOVER TRILOGY didn't do a heck of a lot for me, especially those last two entries, but I'm impressed with what we've seen from WAR DOGS so far; big money, big livin', and big guns, it looks like complete craziness and knowing that it's based on a true story just makes it more so. Warner Bros. have released a brand-new trailer for WAR DOGS which dives right into the action and gives us even more Bradley Cooper, which is never a bad thing.

"I'm not a bad man, but in certain situations, I have to ask myself…what would a bad man do?"

An official synopsis for WAR DOGS:

“War Dogs” follows two friends in their early 20s (Hill and Teller) living in Miami Beach during the Iraq War who exploit a little-known government initiative that allows small businesses to bid on U.S. Military contracts. Starting small, they begin raking in big money and are living the high life. But the pair gets in over their heads when they land a 300 million dollar deal to arm the Afghan Military—a deal that puts them in business with some very shady people, not the least of which turns out to be the U.S. Government.

WAR DOGS blasts into theaters on August 19, 2016.
