Jordan Peele’s new movie to star Steven Yeun of The Walking Dead

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Best known for playing fan favorite character Glenn on AMC's The Walking Dead, actor Steven Yeun is currently in the running to win a Best Actor Oscar for his performance in the film Minari (watch it HERE) – and it looks like he's going to follow up his Oscar nomination by working with Oscar winning filmmaker Jordan Peele. Seems like a good choice to me.

Get Out and Us writer/director Peele is currently assembling his third feature film, and Deadline reports that Yeun is in negotiations to star in the film alongside Keke Palmer and Get Out's Daniel Kaluuya.

No plot details on the film have been officially revealed. The title hasn't even been announced. Universal has let us know when we can expect to see it reach theatres, though. That's on July 22, 2022.

Peele and Ian Cooper are producing the film through Monkeypaw Productions. Universal's Senior VP of Production Sara Scott and Creative Executive Tony Ducret are overseeing the project for the studio.
