Jordan to Row

A couple days after scoring it big (kinda) at the Oscar’s, Guillermo del Toro has made news again, although it’s kind of a bummer.

A while back, it was announced that del Toro would helm the fantasy-thriller KILLING ON CARNIVAL ROW for New Line. According to Variety, however, del Toro has been replaced by director Neil Jordan, whose claim to fame includes THE COMPANY OF WOLVES and a little flick called INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE.

No reason as to why del Toro was replaced (unless of course New Line has a grudge with Oscar-winning fantasy flicks, which would be nutty), but at least del Toro is sticking with what he knows best with HELLBOY 2, which hits next year.
