More sales news coming out of AFM, more talks of remaking the movies that are selling (makes a world of sense, no?). This time it’s the Australian you-are-there thriller LAKE MUNGO on the block. Arclight Films has added the ghost story to its sales slate, while simultaneously looked to remake it.

Lake Mungo tells of the paranormal activity that plagues a family following the drowning of a teenage girl.

Arclight managing director Gary Hamilton said: “The movie is filmed in a stunning documentary style that draws you into the haunting revelations of the story,” Arclight managing director Gary Hamilton said. “In many respects similar to the effect of Blair Witch, we believe the film will play well with international audiences everywhere.” (Handheld Paranormal activity is all the rage nowadays, as you can see HERE).

Joel Anderson wrote and directed the film, which stars Talia Zucker, Rosie Traynor, David Pledger and Martin Sharpe.
