Not only am I going to tell you when JACK & DIANE is heading our way, but I’ll also be giving you the 411 on when the highly anticipated Juan Carlos Fresnadillo thriller INTRUDERS will be dropping. And you thought Christmas was over…
First up we’ve got INTRUDERS, which is heading our way from acclaimed director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and stars Clive Owen, Kerry Fox, Pilar Lopez, Carice van Houten, Adam Leese, Imogen Gray, Ella Hunt, Mark Wingett and Daniel Brühl. The rundown reads: INTRUDERS tells parallel stories of two families whose lives are disrupted by menacing apparitions: in Spain, a mother tries to protect her son from a faceless stranger, while in Britain, a young girl has terrifying dreams of a demon who becomes a real danger to her and her family. Word has it this shite will be dropping come March 30, 2012 courtesy of Millennium Entertainment.
Then on June 1, 2012 Magnolia will be releasing Bradley Rust Gray’s horror/comedy JACK & DIANE into theaters. My gut is telling me this will be a limited release but we’ll have to wait and see on that one. JACK & DIANE stars Juno Temple, Riley Keough (below), Cara Seymour and Kylie Minogue and reads: Jack and Diane, two teenage girls, meet in New York City and spend the night kissing ferociously. Diane’s charming innocence quickly begins to open Jack’s tough-skinned heart. But when Jack discovers that Diane is leaving the country in a week, she tries to push her away. Diane struggles to keep their love alive while hiding a secret that her newly awakened sexual desire is turning her into a werewolf.
So there you have it folks! INTRUDERS invades on March 30th followed by JACK & DIANE pouncing into theaters on June 1st.
